This is a black Vintage 1960s Nordmende Transita Deluxe VHF / MW / LW Transistor Radio, D030, manufactured in West Germany from 1960-63 by Norddeutsche Mende Rundfunk KG.

Made from Black leatherette / rexine covered wood, it is in fair cosmetic and working condition.The radio has an external telescopic aerial with white ball on top, and white station buttons with white plastic tuning and volume dials. The stations (LMU) are clearly marked on the front face of the radio.

Condition:-

  • There are some signs of wear/scuffing on the rexine
  • The grille is slightly discoloured with a few dents
  • The lettering has been almost rubbed off on the white selector buttons
  • The white decorative band around the centre of the radio has discoloured towards the top. 

The price has been adjusted due to the condition.
