Antique Weston Electrical Instruments Ammeter Model 280 Serial Number 23058

This Antique Weston Electrical Instruments Ammeter Model 280 Serial Number 23058 is a wonderful little device.

The unit has been tested and is working. However, it is being sold as a collectible, for display only, as the readings are a bit low. It was last tested in 1994, eighty years after it was made! Leads are not provided.

It dates to the 1910s, and the metal label at the front quotes patents dating from 1894 to 1901.

It is in pretty good cosmetic condition, with some dust in the meter window and  surface scratches/blemishes commensurate with age and use. The base is made from bakelite and the meter housing is black coated steel.
