1920s British Straight Sending Morse Key Possibly Made By Gamages

This morse key is a 1920s British Straight Sending Morse Key Possibly Made By Gamages (Holborn, London, UK).  Chromed metal, with a small black bakelite knob, the ensemble sits on a wooden base.

THOS is engraved on the wood face. I'm not sure if this refers to a manufacturer or previous owner.

Approximate Size:

  • Base Width: 12.4
  • Height: 5.5 cm
  • Base Depth: 6.2 cm
  • Length of Key:  7.9 cm (excluding knob)

It is very similar in design to the Straight Key on the Gamages Practice Set and used by the British GPO.

In fairly good condition, it does have some rust on the key, wear on the bakelite knob, and some scratches on the wood.
