This is a WW2 Air Ministry Lancaster Bomb Release Push Button Switch 5D/534 in good used condition with some surface scuffs and blemishes.
The RAF stores number 5D/534, AM (Air Ministry), and the Air Ministry crown are marked just inside the top face adjacent to the push button.
Where 5D= Aircraft Armament Electrical Stores
This particular item may have had its push switch modified and is sold as a collectable for display only. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
This 6.5cm height switch features a threaded mounting collar and a push plunger on the end; consistent with wartime aircraft control components. There were usually placed on the bombardier's release control panel and/or on the pilot's yoke (as indicated by the yellow arrow in the appended Lancaster Bomber cockpit image).
