Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch Patent C2000

For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch engraved ON / OFF. It dates to about the 1930s.

The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.

The face is brass and the back is brown ceramic/porcelain. It is in reasonably good vintage condition. There are a few scuffs on the surface and the brass is discoloured, but it may benefit from a careful clean and polish. Someone has painted a wall with the switch in situ: the paint can be removed with a finger nail.
