Vintage AA GB Touring Car Plate

This is a very nice 1940s / 50s Vintage AA GB Touring Car Plate. It was issued to members of the AA (Automobile Association) when touring abroad.

This is a white embossed metal plate, which is white on both the face and the rear. The GB letters are painted black and stand proud of the plaque. Unusually, the AA logo is also white.

It is in good condition with some loss of black paint. There is some scuffing on the surface and blemishes on the rear, which might improve with a polish. There are no preexisting holes for mounting the badge on a car, so this plaque has probably never been fitted.
