Vintage Shortland SB Aneroid Barometer and Thermometer In An Elongated Wood Surround

This is a very nice, traditional 1960s, Vintage Shortland SB Aneroid Barometer and Thermometer In An Elongated Wood Surround. It has a recess in the back so that it can be wall hung.

The 4" circular barometer is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. It measures pressure in both inches and millibars: it appears to be working but I’m not sure as to it’s accuracy. The liquid, rectangular, thermometer measures in both centigrade and fahrenheit, and appears to be fairly accurate.

There are a few slight marks in the brass surrounds and the face dial, and some scuffs on the wood. Otherwise, it is in pretty good condition for its age.
