Vintage Revelex Small Revelation Leather And Metal Suitcase

This is a lovely 1930s Vintage Revelex Small Revelation Leather And Metal Suitcase. It was made as an expanding suitcase but the sliding fasteners are difficult to move. 

Made by Revelation Suitcase Co. of 170 Piccadilly, London W.1.

Approximate Size (WHD): 46 x 30 x 14 cm

In fair distressed but useable condition:-

• Fabric lining is intact but stretched with loose elastic on the pockets
• Scuffs, scratches and blemishes in leather, (Revelex), and the leather is missing on the edges
• Handle has missing leather
• Musty smell
• The colour has faded from blue to a green/blue 
• The key is missing
• Expanding fasteners difficult to move.

I quite like the patina but the appearance could probably be improved with liberal use of a good leather dye/ feed and polish. It would make a nice display item.
