Vintage Retractable 50 Foot Metal Tape Measure

This wonderful looking device is a Vintage Retractable 50 Foot Metal Tape Measure. Dating to the 1920s/30s, the accents (tape pull and winder) are brass and the actual measure is made from steel (possibly chromed). It's pretty heavy!

The 50 foot measure is graduated in inches and feet.

The winder is engraved:

The outside of the measure is covered with a maroon/red leather marked 'best leather'.

Approximate spool diameter:- 9.4cm
