Vintage RAF RN Cockpit ADF Radio Control Unit 8283 10L/16287

This Vintage RAF RN Cockpit ADF Radio Control Unit 8283 10L/16287 dates to about the 1950s and is purported to have been used in the Hawker Hunter jet or Westland Scout helicopter. 

Manufactured by Marconi, the control unit is in fairly good condition. It does have surface scuffs/scratches and blemishes, and some surface corrosion commensurate age, use and storage. The window to the meter is slightly cloudy: I've not tried opening the unit to clean it.

The unit has not been tested and is being sold as a collectible.

The control unit has the following markings:-

↑ (Broad Arrow)

Control Unit 8283 10L/16287 (where 10 is the RAF store number for radio/radar equipment)
