Vintage OO-Gauge Hornby 92220 Evening Star BR 2-10-0 Steam Locomotive With Tender

This is a really nice example of a Vintage OO-Gauge Hornby 92220 Evening Star BR 2-10-0 Steam Locomotive With Tender.

In excellent boxed condition: all buffers and couplings are intact. The locomotive has never been run but the motor has been tested and is working satisfactorily. The box, with the Hornby 1977 colour way and logo, is scuffed and creased commensurate with age and storage.

The actual, full size, Standard class 9F 92220 Evening Star was the last steam locomotive built by British Railways and was always intended for preservation. It was the 999th loco of the BR standard range and now resides in the National Railway Museum, York, UK.
