Vintage Hand Painted 18th Century Man Kelsboro Ware Miniature Character Jug

Here is a wonderful Vintage Hand Painted 18th Century Man Kelsboro Ware Miniature Character Jug with lovely vibrant colours. The man is wearing an 18th Century style Tricorn hat, with a grey ringlet adorned wig, grey goatee beard, and moustache.

He was made as ‘Kelsboro Ware’, at the Longton New Art Pottery Co Ltd in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, which was established in 1932.

This lovely character jug is in very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. There is some crazing.

Approximate Maximum Dimensions:–

• Height- 7.5cm (2.95″)
• Width- spout to handle ~9cm (3.5″)
• Base width- 4.8cm (1.9″)
