Vintage GPO/Military Brown Leather Shoulder Messenger Bag

This Vintage GPO/Military Brown Leather Shoulder Messenger Bag is similar in design to those used by the British General Post Office (GPO) and Military in the 1950s/60s. We're not absolutely sure of its age or actual use but we don't think it was a British Railway Guard/Drivers bag.

The bag is intact and in distressed condition; it is also slightly grubby, particularly inside. There are a few small pin holes in the leather, and the leather is stiff and in need of further nourishment. It has had a light surface clean.

It would make a great display item or, if you love the retro look, for daily use. It will hold a laptop and A4 size paper.

The images were taken both indoors and in natural light, hence the differences in colour. The actual colour is closest to the taken in natural light (lighter brown).
