Vintage Falcon Ware English Rose Serving Plate

This is a gorgeous 1930s Vintage Falcon Ware English Rose Serving Plate. A lovely addition to the Afternoon tea table, it comprises two conjoined pink roses with green leaves as handles. It would also make a lovely display item on the dressing table or vanity unit!

It’s in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. There is some crazing.

The images were taken with and without flash, hence the colour difference.

Made in England

It was made by Thomas Lawrence Falcon Pottery, Staffordshire, which was bought by Shaw & Copestake (SylvaC) in 1938. The two companies worked independently for almost twenty years before merging. The Falcon name ceased in 1964. This dish was made prior to the takeover by Shaw.
