Vintage Czech Tesla Military Spy Set Radio Clamshell Microphone With Built-in Speaker 

This is a very unusual Vintage Czech Tesla Military Spy Set Radio Clamshell Microphone With Built-in Speaker. Presented in its original brown leather carry case with loop strap for attachment to a belt / webbing.

In excellent unused condition, it is marked only with the serial number. Made from metal and a clamshell design, it terminates with a bakelite connector. There are a few slight storage blemishes on the clamshell coating, and the travel case is difficult to open due to lack of use!

We don't know which radio set it was designed for but it dates to about the 1950s. It was made by the electrotechnics company TESLA (Technika Slaboproudá) in the former Czechoslovakia.
