Hilger and Watts were makers of high quality optical measurement instruments based in Camberwell Road, London SE5. They became part of Taylor, Taylor Hobson (a subsidiary of Rank Precision Industries) in 1968.

These devices are incredibly scarce and a trawl around the internet will show that they rarely appear for sale. This microscope transformer has not been used for several years, and is being sold as a collectible display item only for a more affordable price.
