Guitar Shaped Barometer Vintage Souvenir/Touristware

If you love kitsch then this small Guitar Shaped Barometer Vintage Souvenir/Touristware was made for you! It has a very nice cord attached to the rear of the guitar so that it can be wall hung.

Dating to about the 1950s, the circular barometer is in good condition, with no chips or cracks. It appears to be working but I’m not sure as to it’s accuracy. There are a few marks in the brass surround and the face dial, and some scuffs on the wood of the guitar.

A wonderful looking barometer to complement any home décor but particularly that of the guitar enthusiast! They were often found with different makes and styles of barometer inserted into a similar guitar surround in many European tourist destinations, and were a popular souvenir.
