Beswick Christmas Carol Yule 1976 Tankard/Mug

This is a very nice, limited edition, Dickensware Beswick Christmas Carol Yule 1976 Tankard/Mug. A Royal Doulton Christmas Stein featuring Charles Dickens’ famous character, ‘Scrooge,’ with the Ghost from Christmas Present from his popular novel, ‘A Christmas Carol.’ 

As with tradition, the 'Ghost of Christmas Present' is wearing a very natty fur-edged long green coat, and Scrooge sports his customary night cap and shirt.

It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There are some manufacturing defects visible on the base and inside the tankard, e.g. black specks, which have been there since the mug was first fired.
