Astatic Silver Eagle D-104 Amplified Desk microphone and T-UP9 stand

This wonderful looking microphone is a high quality amplified crystal Astatic Silver Eagle D-104 Amplified Desk microphone with a T-UP9 Stand. Affectionately known as the 'lollipop' by amateur radio enthusiasts, it is made from chromed die cast zinc alloy.

Manufactured by CTI audio of 341, Harbor Street, Conneaut, Ohio, USA and dating to about the 1980s, albeit originally designed in 1933 hence the Art Deco styling. This model was made from 1933 right up to 2001!

In great condition, with just a few faint scuffs/surface scratches and tiny surface blemishes in the chrome. My apologies for the quality of the images; I've found it very difficult to photograph due to all the reflections from the surface.

This Astatic D104 Silver Eagle desk mic has a chrome head with the eagle logo on the rear. The base terminates to a four pin plug.
