4069A Microphone Plug For A 630A or STC 4021 Apple and Biscuit Microphone

This is a vintage 4069A Microphone Plug For A 630A or STC 4021 Apple and Biscuit Microphone. In good cosmetic and working condition, with a few surface scuffs/blemishes commensurate with age and use.

Sold for use with a Western Electric Omindirectional 630A Microphone. These mics were also known as an Apple & Biscuit, Ball & Biscuit, and Eight (8) Ball. They were also sold in the UK by STC (Standard Telephone & Cable) as model 4021.

The 4069A Plug is sold on its own but we also have a Leevers and Rich BBC Microphone Baffle/suspension ring , used by the BBC in conjunction with the Apple and Biscuit Mic, available to purchase in a separate listing. 

For illustrative purposes, I’ve included an image of the Apple & Biscuit microphone with the connector, and an original 1940s advert for the cable. The microphone and advert are not included in this sale.
