1980s Yaesu Crystal Checker For RX and TX Crystals Used In Yaesu FTC Transceivers

This 1980s Yaesu Crystal Checker For RX and TX Crystals Used In Yaesu FTC Transceivers is a bit of mystery as we haven't seen one before! It comes in its original cardboard box, labelled FYG-I crystal checker, with instructions and 2 Yaesu crystals.

Approximate Size (WHD): 11 x 4 x 8 cm

In very good condition with a few surface blemishes commensurate with age and use. It has not been tested. The photos have been taken with and without flash hence the colour difference: it is dark grey in colour.

It would have been used for checking both TX and RX crystals in the following Yaesu models:-

• FTC 2025
• FTC 1540A
• FTC 740A
• FTC 2040
• FTC 725A
• FTC 2003
• FTC 1525A

According to the technical leaflet, the crystal checker should be used with a frequency counter, RF voltmeter and DC power supply (13.8V).
