Dating to the 1980s, it comprises 4 cubes (6 sides): 3.7cm wide with 4 different colours of very frilly french style knickers on each cube.

The instructions on the box state:-
“Arrange the knickers in a line so that there is one of each colour on each long side- they can be in any order and face any direction”
