This kitsch, Blue & White, 1973 Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Christmas Plate features a Steam Train with two children train spotting.  Although designed as a wall plate, it could also be used as a side plate, biscuit plate or trinket dish. Perfect for the Christmas table!

The distinctive blue colouration and glazing is obtained using cobalt blue paint on unfired porcelain. The porcelain is then fired, glazed and fired again: known as ‘underglaze firing.’
