This majestic looking gentlemen is a vintage 1950s Royal Doulton The Lawyer Character Jug D6498. The large Toby (Character) Jug is in wonderful condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. A nice addition to a Royal Doulton collection, for display, or to use as a pen repository on your study desk!

A design made from 1959 to the 1990s, this particular jug dates to the 1950s/60s. I particularly like the handle, which represents the Lawyer’s Quill! Royal Doulton Character Jugs and Mugs are of high quality, well respected by collectors, and often reproduced; this is an original.
