1950s Aiwa DM-13 Dynamic Microphone

This 1950s Aiwa DM-13 Dynamic Microphone was made by Aiwa, Tokyo, Japan. In working condition, it comes with its original lead and is made from machined aluminium. Its design is similar to that of the Electro Voice 636.

The mic is set at High Z so it's ideal for general broadcasting and harp or harmonica reproduction. The microphone comes ready cabled with the three wire cable shown.   The heavy machined aluminium barrel looks superb, and the flexor joint and switch work perfectly.

In very good condition with some minor surface blemishes and scuffs.

Approximate Microphone Dimensions:

  • Face Diameter: 3.3 cm
  • Total Length: 28 cm (including bracket but excluding lead)
