This is an original, rare, 1925 Brown Brothers Catalogue No. 217 Radio Instruments Components Parts And Accessories.

In fair-good condition with scuffs, discolouration, stains, and a few bumps on the edges commensurate with age and use. 

A soft back / paperback catalogue comprising 124 pages of radio related products supplied by Brown Brothers in the 1920s, including items from Marconi, Ever Ready, Siemens, amongst others. A piece of wireless radio history and history of BBL!

Brown Brothers Limited (BBL) was founded in 1889 in Great Eastern Street, London, UK as a manufacturer and wholesaler of bicycles (Vindec) and parts, for example, Bronco. They diversified over the years to include motor cars (e.g. Talmo and Duco accessories), motorcycles, aircraft, and radio. A huge company over the years, a bit like a modern day RS components, in 1989 they became part of Dana Incorporated before being subsumed into Partco in the 1990s.
