This is a, 100-year old, 1923 The Boys' Wireless Book Published By George Newnes. A piece of radio communications and wireless history!

In fair condition, this book has a hardback cover and a cloth spine. The cover and pages have faded, yellowed with age, and exhibit some creasing and foxing. The cover has a break in one corner 'fixed' with clear tape. Some of the pages are loose but have not fully detached from the spine.

The answer is they built and played with wireless technology, as described in this wonderful 1920s 'The Boys Wireless book.' An early amateur radio book providing a plethora of information on problem solving, aerials and receiving sets.

This would make a great present for a Radio Ham/ amateur radio enthusiast or lover of vintage technology. It was published only a year after the BBC radio broadcasting tests at Marconi House, London (radio station 2LO) in 1922, and the BBC's inaugural radio news bulletin read by Mr Arthur Burrows, who is featured in this book.
