Vintage Metal Screw Thread Pitch Gauge

This Vintage Metal Screw Thread Pitch Gauge is a very nice small collectible to add to your Engineering tool kit.

It's slightly pitted and rusty, and would probably benefit from a polish.

I can't find a maker's mark but each of the gauges is marked with a number in threads per inch (TPI), but I'm not sure which standard has been used.

The TPI values range from 4 to 62. Many of the measures have the corresponding value in inches; e.g 32 5/32"

When closed, the gauge measures:

• Length: 6.4cm 
  
• Width: 1.2 cm
• Height: 1.1 cm
