Vintage Bakelite Lidded Pot In Mottled Brown And Yellow Colours

I love this Vintage Bakelite Lidded Pot In Mottled Brown And Yellow Colours. An unusual design, it's small and lightweight, and in lovely condition with a few surface blemishes.

I'm not sure what it was originally used for, the dish lid doesn't screw on and isn't a tight fit, I think it's probably a trinket pot for the dressing table.
