Vintage Kingsford Products Detectafire Automatic Fire Alarm

This unusual piece of technology is a Vintage Kingsford Products Detectafire Automatic Fire Alarm, made by KP Ltd, 120 Alfred Garner Street, Hull, UK

Made from Brown Bakelite, it is in fair used condition and would make a great fire safety collectible for display only. It dates to the 1920s/30s. With a bit of adaptation you could even use it as a novelty loo roll holder!
