1977 M67 Soviet Marine Aneroid Barometer In Original Transit Case

This nice piece of meteorological ephemera is a 1977 M67 Soviet Marine Aneroid Barometer In Original Transit Case. It measures pressure between 600-800mmHg. 

Made by Safonovsky Gidrometpribor, Smolensk Oblast, Russia, founded in 1960, it was purportedly used in a Soviet Navy Icebreaker (ship): I have no provenance for this.

In very good condition, the barometer appears to be in working order but has not been removed from the case as it so securely attached. I can't attest to its accuracy. 

The outer case has a few blemishes commensurate with age and use.
