This is a pair of 1960s Asahi Pentax Binoculars Model N0.556 8x40 Wide Field For Spares Or Repairs.

In distressed condition, with surface scuffs/paint loss commensurate with age and use. They are partially working but in need of some work. Sold for spares or repairs only.

Issues include:

• The left lens doesn't seem to focus properly
• One of the screw threads on the front is missing
• 'O' rings are split on the eye pieces
• The optics are dusty
• There may be other issues which I haven't mentioned; please see images
