1920s Woods Brothers Green Glass Eye bath Cup

This is a highly collectible 1920s Woods Brothers Green Glass Eye bath Cup and is stamped ‘Made in England’ on the base.

The base is also marked with a ‘ W’ inside an octagon. This indicates that it was manufactured by Woods Brothers of Barnsley. The company were famous for glass manufacturing for over a hundred years.

The eye bath design is known as a ‘pedestal’ as the eye bath has a stem and a circular base.

The height is approximately 2.5″ or 6.4 cm. Unfortunately, it does have a chip on the base and the price has been reduced as a consequence. 

These are a great item for collectors of vintage glass, medical devices, and chemical glassware.
