WW2 Air Ministry Bomb Selector 4-Way Switch Box 5D/533

This is a boxed, bakelite, WW2 Air Ministry Bomb Selector 4-Way Switch Box 5D/533 in good unused condition with some storage scuffs and blemishes.

The RAF stores number 5D/533, AM (Air Ministry), and the Air Ministry crown are marked just inside the top face adjacent to the four bakelite switches. 

Where 5D=  Aircraft Armament Electrical Stores

It comes with its original box stamped Stead Mc.Alpin & Son Ltd., 1 Oct 1945; (this was the date that it was packed).  This type of switch was purportedly used on many iconic early WW2 aircraft including; Swordfish, Wellingtons and Beauforts.

Approximate Size (WHD):- 11 x 4.5 x 7.7 cm

As this is NOS, the white plate for marking which bomb rack was connected to the particular switch is not attached.
