This vintage aircraft cockpit altimeter gauge is a RAF MK 19A KB Altitude Meter 6A/2944 Rated To 60000 Feet, made by Kelvin Hughes (KB), for 1950s era Military Aircraft e.g. English Electric Canberra jet bomber and the Vickers Valiant.
In very good cosmetic condition, with some minor surface blemishes, it has not been tested. The black bakelite knob turns freely, and the hands move.

This specific model is rated for high-altitude tracking up to 60,000 feet, making it suitable for post-WWII jet-age aircraft operating at extreme altitudes.
The earlier versions of this type of meter, rated up to 35,000 feet, were used in WW2 iconic aircraft e.g. Spitfire. It also belongs to a closely related family of cold-war era instruments, which also includes the Mk 19B (Ref: 6A/5040) variant.
