1960s Rogers Cadet 3 Valve Power Amplifier

This is how the audiophile collector likes to find vintage HiFi such as this 1960s Rogers Cadet 3 Valve Power Amplifier, as it is unmolested and unmodified.

It sports a full complement of valves, which have all been tested using an AVO VCM 163 Valve Tester and found to give good emission.

Serial number R40989

10 Watt Stereo Valve Power Amplifier

Manufactured by Rogers Developments Co., founded by Jim Rogers in 1947.

We are selling this amplifier as a Restoration project only. This is not for immediate connection to a mains power supply. The lead will be marked with a "Failed' PAT test label and sent without a plug top fitted.

It is offered in 'restoration condition' as it has been in storage for many years without use and, therefore, has not been powered. Accordingly, the passive components will probably have aged with the resistors having 'gone high,' and the electrolytic capacitors probably showing leakage.

It was manufactured by Rogers, UK, in the 1960s. The amplifier presents with very good cosmetics as either an unspoilt shelf queen or as a candidate for fitment of modern/boutique passive componentry.
