1920s Crompton & Co Laboratory Standard 10 Ohm Resistance
This is a 1910s / 1920s Crompton & Co Laboratory Standard 10 Ohm Resistance, in a nickel-plated brass can, mounted on a paxolin and brass base plinth.
In good antique condition, this is sold as a collectible for display only. It has not been tested, and I'm not sure how it was actually used or whether or not it is complete.
A wonderful piece of antique laboratory equipment made by the famous electricity generating and lighting company, Crompton, founded in 1878.
Dates prior to 1927 when Crompton & Co, then part of Armstrong Whitworth, merged with F&A Parkinson. The company eventually became part of Hawker Siddeley.
