Miniature Vintage Brass Pump Grease Gun With Curved Applicator
A useful, and collectible, Miniature Vintage Brass Pump Grease Gun With Curved Applicator. It is made from solid brass and smells wonderfully of old garage workshops and grease! I’m not sure what it was originally used for; possibly a motorcycle or bicycle or even a hard to reach part in a piece of industrial equipment.
- Height (excluding applicator): 7.5cm
- Diameter of reservoir: 2.5cm
- Length of Applicator: 8.8cm
In pretty good vintage condition, with scuffs and surface scratches commensurate with age and use. The internal rubber clad metal plunger is still in situ and was covered in old grease. I have tried to remove the residue so that the reservoir is clean enough for you to add some new grease. I haven’t polished the outside, as I like to keep the patina, and I’m not sure whether or not there is a maker’s mark. The style is very similar to Tecalemit tools.
When not in use, the plunger screws in to the top of the gun. The diameter of the applicator nozzle is very small and only dispenses a very fine drop of grease. A handy little object for those small greasing jobs! Wonderful addition to a collection of vintage tools.
