Vintage Cream Anglepoise 1227 Table Lamp

This is a really nice 1960’s edition of the iconic model Vintage Cream Anglepoise 1227 Table Lamp, with two tiers.

For over 70 years, Anglepoise has created table lamps and table lights that are now British design classics. This particular example is in original condition but has been rewired with pale blue braided flex, and fitted with a ‘vintage style’ modern plug and low energy light bulb to ensure that it is electrically safe and energy efficient. It has also been successfully electrically tested (PAT).

It would suit all sorts of rooms in the home, in addition to the office and workshop.

The quintessentialyl British three -spring 1227 design was invented in 1935 by the renowned engineer, George Carwardine, and the model is still going strong today!
