Vintage Ceramic Dutch Girl, Boy Salt & Pepper Pots

If you like cute and kitsch kitchenalia then you will love these Vintage Ceramic Dutch Girl, Boy Salt & Pepper Pots!

They date from about the 1940s/50s and were possibly made in Japan. They are dressed in traditional Dutch costume. The salt cellar is in the shape of the little girl, whilst the Dutch boy is the pepper pot.

Both figures are in fair vintage condition with some small paint loss to the bottom of their clogs, and the tip of the boy’s hat. The colours are quite vibrant. Both small corks, holding the salt/pepper in place, are present but I’ve not checked to see if they are ‘leak-proof.’
