1962 Vintage TG Green Fleur Trilobal Tealight Casserole Dish Warmer
This TG Green Fleur Trilobal Tealight Casserole Dish Warmer was designed by Berit Ternell. In 1962 Berit Ternell, a Swedish designer aged 33, was invited to T G Green to bring a design twist to Cornish Ware. Whilst there, she designed ‘Fleur’, a full oven to table service and kitchen range.
And what a triumph of design excellence, today, we have one of her rarest pieces, a trilobal…. tea light holder… actually, it’s a caserole dish stand/ trivet with a handy well in the centre for a tea light to keep your chicken stew warm!!!! So, a dual use item, for, me the design cues are wonderful, use it for it’s intended purpose or just as a kooky tea light holder or a candle stick holder.
No chips other than a slight glaze mark from firing on one of the lobes. Where will you find another?
