1957 White Telephone Bullers Porcelain Electrical Insulator
This unusual object is a 1957 White Telephone Bullers Porcelain Electrical Insulator. They used to be found on telegraph/ telephone poles but are now obsolete.
Insulators are pretty tactile. They are quite heavy and make fantastic paperweights! Quite a talking point for the office desk!
This particular porcelain insulator is a single groove British Cordeaux No.1- standard Post Office pattern. It was Made in England by Bullers Ltd. The Bullers logo, date and pattern number are impressed on the top of the insulator.
The logo is quite difficult to read. Otherwise it is in good condition, with slight scuffs from contact with the wire.
