1930s Alfred Meakin Old Willow Pattern Milk Jug Creamer Sauce Boat
This is a very pretty 1930s Alfred Meakin Old Willow Pattern Milk Jug Creamer Sauce Boat, made in Tunstall, Staffordshire, UK.
A beautiful blue and white patterned squat earthenware milk jug, with the iconic blue willow pattern circling the jug. It is quite an unusual shape, with a wide neck, and could be used for a floating candle, a small gravy or sauce boat, or for potpourri.
It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The back mark is for Alfred Meakin: post 1930, when Ltd was dropped from the back stamp.
A nice addition to the Old Willow Tea set or for blue and white pottery collectors!
