1940s Carlton Ware Pink & Brown Bud Vase Pattern 2554/6
This 1940s Carlton Ware Pink & Brown Bud Vase Pattern 2554/6 was manufactured in Staffordshire, UK.
It is in good condition, with no restoration work, cracks, or chips. There is slight loss of gilding at the bottom of the vase stem and some crazing. Its quite unusual for Carlton ware in that the design is quite plain but the colours are very pretty.
This would make a great addition to a Carlton Ware collection. It would also look lovely filled with a small posy of spring flowers or a sprig of dried flowers!
The maker’s mark on the base is as follows:-
Made in England
2554/6 is also impressed on the base. I am unable to trace the number.
