The text from the rear cover of the book:-
‘Cynthia Hind grew up in a remote part of the Northwest Cape, in Namaqualand, South Africa and received her education at Good Hope Seminary, and for a short while at Cape Town University. After serving in the South African Women’s Army Air Force (W.A.A.F.), she married an R.A.F. pilot and went to live in Northern England where her two children were born. It was during this period that she started to write professionally and many of her short stories and articles were published in the UK and on the Continent.
Subsequently, the family emigrated to what was then Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), where she and her husband helped to build up the family furniture business. At this stage, through her writing and investigative reporting, Cynthia became involved in UFOs, and worked as a field investigator for MUFON of America when the material for this book was collected.’
