We believe the torch \/flashlight is one of the earliest to be manufactured by \u003cem\u003eBritish Ever Ready Specialities\u003c\/em\u003e (Ever Ready UK), and dates to the early 1900s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is not in working condition, as there appears to be a few internal components missing, hence we are selling it as a historic decorative display piece only. It could easily be renovated to working condition by someone with a little knowhow.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn pretty good cosmetic condition, the torch does have scuffs and scratches in the wood commensurate with age and use. The bullseye glass has a chip in the bottom (please see image with a red arrow pointing to the defect).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bullseye bulb, approximately 6cm in diameter, has a nickel brass lamp holder.
