1962 Vintage TG Green Fleur Trilobal Tealight Casserole Dish Warmer
1962 Vintage TG Green Fleur Trilobal Tealight Casserole Dish Warmer
This TG Green Fleur Trilobal Tealight Casserole Dish Warmer was designed by Berit Ternell. In 1962 Berit Ternell, a Swedish designer aged 33, was invited to TG Green to bring a design twist to their iconic horizontal striped Cornish Ware. Whilst there, she designed ‘Fleur,’ a full oven to table service and kitchen range. The design cues are wonderful!
Approximate Dimensions:-
- 6.75″ / 16.5cm width (end of trivet leg to well).
- Approximately 20cm leg to leg.
- 2.25″ / 5.8cm height
This is one of her rarest pieces, a trilobal tea light holder… actually, it’s a casserole dish stand/trivet with a handy well in the centre for a tea light to keep your chicken or Vegetable stew warm! Use it for its intended purpose or just as a kooky tea light holder or a candle stick holder.
In good condition with no restoration or chips. It has a slight glaze mark from firing on one of the lobes and some crazing.
