There is power to the lamp once connected to an appropriate power source e.g. 2x 1.5v dry cells or 3v power supply.  It does have a few surface blemishes commensurate with age and use, and some small areas of rust.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan color=\"#002cfd\" size=\"6\"\u003eBritains Ltd produced some wonderful tinplate toys which were extremely well engineered. This searchlight has one turning screw (broken) at the end of lever. Turning the end of the lever allows the search light to be directed upwards and downwards.
