Made in Staffordshire, England. They had a very short production run in the 1970s and, hence, are becoming increasingly difficult to find. A wonderful collector’s item or statement piece on your afternoon tea tray!

It is in good condition, with no restoration work, cracks, chips or restoration. I have found some difficulty colour matching in the images. The yellow is possibly slightly darker than shown in the images (creamy yellow), and the terracotta leaves are slightly lighter. The design is based on an 18th Century Wedgwood pattern when the Japanese influence was very much in vogue.

The teapot has an impressed back mark, which is very difficult to see on the base in line with the spout.
Wedgwood,
Made In England

Base Diameter: 11.2cm
Height (including lid): 14.4cm
Length (Handle to spout): 22.5cm

Please click on the following links for more Wedgwood and vintage teapots.

Some Trivia For You!

Jasperware is the most famous of Josiah Wedgwood’s inventions.
