It dates to 1949.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tick of this clock is incredibly loud, which is fine for heavy sleepers! It belonged to my Great Uncle, whom was slightly deaf from working in a blast quarry.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eApproximate Size \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBase Width: 11.5 cm\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTotal Height: 12 cm\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBase Depth:  4.6 cm\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eClock Diameter: 11 cm\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe clock is made from steel with chrome\/brass accents, black hands and black numerals. Both the clock and alarm are in good working order. It is easily read from a distance, however, the dial isn't luminous. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe green paint work is slightly discoloured\/pitted with surface blemishes, particularly around the edges of the case. There is also some slight discolouration on the clock face.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have timed the clock over a 72-hour period and it kept reasonable time (within 2 minutes).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll in all a nice alarm clock for those of us whom love vintage and shabby chic.
